My life is normal.I wake up everyday at 6:30, have a shower and comb my hair. Brush my teeth and go to school. Do a maths test and chill with my friends. Get dismissed and go home. Give Mum my excursion note and do my homework. Have tea and go to bed - Normal. My life seemed normal. Normal as normal as normal. I would get up the next morning- and do it again, everyday of my life. My mum, my dad, my friends - Normal.
But on day, as my usual routine continues - I wake up and Mum and Dad are gone. The house was empty. Quietness, I shed a tear. My biggest fear had come true - Mum and Dad are gone and i'm left on my own - to fight.
As I search the house for any clues - I come across a note - from Mum and Dad! It reads;
Dear Reece,
You know this day has come, It is time for you to fight. We have been killed by an evil agenecy. I must ask you to evacuate this town immediately!! Go to Aunty Stella's and she will fix you up with weapons. She will tell you what to do from there.
Love Mum and Dad
P.S We love you - Good Luck
I shove the note in my pocket; and immediaetly go to Aunty Stella's. So many questions - not many answers. Mum and Dad are dead - will I be next?
